FAQs

  • Honestly, it depends on you and the therapist. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t. But the BEST way to get results is to be open, honest and share your concerns with your therapist. ONLY then can you expect to receive the best support and advice. It’s like working a puzzle with pieces missing. You won’t get the whole beautiful picture in the end without ALL the pieces.

  • The 1st session will feel different from the rest due to fact that we are getting to know one another. Throughout this session we will go over confidentiality and the informed consent, sign any release forms if necessary and payment information. We will develop a treatment plan that meets your needs the best.

  • YES, YES, YES!! We take confidentiality VERY seriously. All client-therapist conversations are private and confidential. In those rare exceptions when the safety of a client or another is at risk disclosure of confidential client-therapist information takes place.

  • We ask that you call or text your therapist directly to cancel your appointment. We ask ALL clients to give a 24-hour notice when cancelling or rescheduling. Anyone cancelling an appointment with less than a 24-hour notice will be charged their full session fee. We will charge the credit card on file for no shows and cancellations within 24-hours of the scheduled session. We prioritize clients by holding space for each person we see. When clients cancel an appointment, we offer that space to other clients who need an appointment that week. When clients cancel within 24-hours or no show, other clients miss out on an opportunity to be seen.
